Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior
Managing Partner, the Information Systems Manager and Support
Specialist has the responsibility for coordinating and directing of
all aspects of information systems and computer operations; provides
technical guidance in developing short
and long range plans; recommends technical improvements
consistent with department, users and company goals; schedules and
monitors projects; informs management of recurring or projected
resources and capacity problems for corrective action or planning
purposes.
Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a good blend of business and technical
skills. Specific qualifications for this position include:

Managerial Experience
in department management including direct staff management,
(not just project management)-
Must possess and demonstrate proficient
technical skills in popular networking technologies.
- Must possess and demonstrate proficient
technical skills in Microsoft network technologies.
- Responsible for budget preparation
and meeting established SLA's.
- Informs
upper management of any resource capacity problems for
corrective action or planning purposes.
- Maintains
schedule that insures the accurate and timely completion of
information system projects.
- Develop, implement and enforces
procedural standards.
- Acts as liaison between the
Information Systems Department and clients
to insure satisfactory results from user's point of view.
- Supervises and monitors the
performance of all Information Systems operations
- Maintains a Quality Control (QC)
system regarding client and our datacenter system
security procedures
Management/Leadership Experience
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years
IT department/personnel management and end systems support.
- Previous business environment
experience required.
- Successful development and execution
of strategic plans and new thinking in respect to problem solving
- A proven,
successful record of managing and
growing departmental
staff environments, as there is a heavy influencing component
to this role.
Knowledge / Educational
requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's
degree in Engineering or Information Systems preferred.
- Advanced computer skills in design,
testing, installation and maintenance.
- Previous Microsoft family system
hands-on experience
required
- Excellent customer support skills.
Maintains current knowledge of technological advancements in the computer/network
systems field.
Personality requirements:
Result oriented and service minded.
Excellent organizational and time
management skills.
Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, including the ability to effectively
communicate to both business and technical individuals.
Occasional travel required based on priorities and business demands.
